Treating Women & Couples
I have a passion to help individuals through their toughest times. I specialize in treating Women and Couples. I take an unbiased, honest, and open approach. I am certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, counselors and Therapist (AASECT). One of seven in the state of Nebraska. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of pain, orgasm, desire and arousal.
I work with local and national providers specializing in sexual issues. This allows me to best treat your concerns from all sides of one’s self. My training has also allowed me to provide specialized interventions in life transitions if that be menopause, cancer and many other medical diagnoses that affect one’s or a couple’s sexual self. I have an eclectic approach to treatment bringing in multiple interventions as well as exploring one’s past experiences on their sexual functioning and views.
I strive to provide a safe environment to be vulnerable about one’s most intimate details. I’m an active member in both local and professional organizations such as The International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS), International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), Project Pink’d, American Heart Association, Madonna Rehab facilities and The Nebraska Counseling Association.
Consultation & Speaking
I also offer consultations for sex education and love to speak at events on the topic of sexuality and sexual health. I offer job trainings for staff to help them implement programs to talk to patients/clients about sex more openly and positively.
