I have a passion to help individuals through their toughest times. I specialize in treating Women, Couples and Teens. I take an unbiased, honest, and open approach. I am a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators and Therapist (AASECT). One of seven in the state of Nebraska. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of pain, orgasm, desire and arousal.
I work with a local gynecologist and physical therapist that specialize in sexual issues. This allows me to best treat your concerns from all sides of one’s self. My training has also allowed me to provide specialized interventions in life transitions if that be menopause, cancer and many other medical diagnoses that effect one’s or a couple’s sexual self.
I am also a trained trauma therapist using EMDR to treat PTSD from past abuse or sexual assault in women and children. My other areas of expertise are in domestic violence, teaching teens healthy relationships, relationship conflict, and sexuality and aging (puberty or middle to late aging). I’m an active member in both local and professional organizations such as The International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS), International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and The Nebraska Counseling Association.
I also offer consultations for sex education and love to speak at events on the topic of sexuality and sexual health. I offer job trainings for staff to help them implement programs to talk to patients/clients about sex more openly and positively.
