About Leslie Norman
I provide treatment for individuals, family members and couples and have been working in the mental health field for over twenty years. My interests and experience lie with clients who have a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorder, Depression and PTSD.
I also work with people who are going through major life changes like divorce, retirement, job loss and grief. I enjoy a diverse population of clients including LGBTQ+ and people of various ethnic and social backgrounds. I am interested in helping people improve their quality of life.
I received my B.S. in Special Education and my M.S. in Guidance and Counseling both from the University of Missouri in Columbia. I received an M.S.W. degree from UNO and am a licensed clinical social worker in Nebraska. I am also certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. I am trained in both DBT and EMDR – and have lead DBT groups.
