Clinical Social Worker – Certified Equine Specialist
Leslie provides treatment for individuals, family members and couples and has been working in the mental health field for over twenty years. Her interests and experience lie with clients who have a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorder, Depression and PTSD.
She also works with people who are going through major life changes like divorce, retirement, job loss and grief. She enjoys a diverse population of clients including LGBTQ+ and people of various ethnic and social backgrounds. She is interested in helping people improve their quality of life.
Leslie received her B.S. in Special Education and her M.S. in Guidance and Counseling both from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She received her M.S.W. degree from UNO and is a licensed clinical social worker in Nebraska. She is also certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She is trained in both DBT and EMDR – and has lead DBT groups.
